| Charivari are green wool field trousers worn on campaign. The legs are closed with 18 brass buttons on a red wool stripe down the outside. These are reinforced up the inside of the leg with black leather to prevent chafing from long periods in the saddle. Pockets over each leg are closed by three buttons. Charivari were designed to be worn over the culottes and can be worn by themselves. |
